New Delhi. Bollywood celebrity Mira Rajput Kapoor is a famous yoga lover. However, she prefers to do different workouts apart from yoga to stay healthy.
Kapoor told IANSlife in an interview, “Apart from yoga, I enjoy a variety of high-intensity workouts like strength training, cardio workouts and I also love new fitness forms that help me maintain an active lifestyle. We do.”
Kapoor also says that she turned to yoga because she felt that yoga helps her listen to her body and makes her feel connected with herself.
Q: To ask to name one thing that undermines healthy living?
Answer: Says the fitness icon, “One thing that according to me has been underestimated in staying healthy is the importance of proper diet along with proper exercise.”
“People often neglect their food intake and put all the pressure on exercise. Whereas, your fitness is 70 percent what you eat and 30 percent physical activity.”
Q: Similarly, is there anything that is more important in staying healthy?
“I think one thing that strikes me more is the number of hours you workout. The number doesn’t matter as long as you’re doing the right workout and the exercises are consistent,” says Kapoor. (IANS)
