The first classification includes the clubs Manchester City of England, Real Madrid of Spain, Bayern Munich of Germany, Paris Saint-Germain of France, Flamengo of Brazil, Palmeiras of Brazil, River Plate of Argentina, and Fluminense of Brazil.
While the second classification includes the clubs Chelsea of England, Borussia Dortmund of Germany, Inter of Italy, Porto of Portugal, Atletico Madrid of Spain, Benfica of Portugal, Juventus of Italy, and Red Bull Salzburg of Austria.
While in the third classification are the Saudi clubs Al-Hilal, Korea’s Ulsan Hyundai, Egypt’s Al-Ahly, Morocco’s Wydad, Mexico’s Monterrey, Mexico’s Club Leon, Argentina’s Boca Juniors, and Brazil’s Botafogo.
In light of this classification, the draw may put Al-Ain in an Arab confrontation, whether with Al-Ahly of Egypt or Wydad of Morocco, who are in the third classification, while Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia exited through Al-Ain, as the tournament regulations stipulate that there are no two teams from the same continent in one group, with the exception of The European Union, which is represented by 12 clubs in the World Cup.
The 32 teams will be divided into eight groups of four teams that will initially compete in the group stage.
The top two teams from each group qualify for the round of 16, where the elimination rounds will be held through one match leading to the final, while no match will be held to determine third and fourth places.
