An Ongole Bull Died After Being Caught In A Net.

As part of the Ugadi festival celebrations, a bull died after getting caught in a net in a pond while getting tarfid to participate in bull competitions held every year. According to the details of the locals, this bull belongs to Muramanda Mogalapu Chinna of East Godavari District Kadiam Mandal. It has the ability to win prizes in any region of the state. In this order, on the occasion of Ugadi, they were made to swim in the pond as part of the Tarfidu to win the prize in the annual Edla competition held at the Dulla Nandeswara Swamy temple.

But earlier, a plastic net was installed in that pond to prevent storks from going for fish. Unbeknownst to the farmer, he lowered it into the pond and the bull got caught in the net and lost his life. No matter how hard the surrounding farmers tried to save the bull, there was no result. Due to the whirlwind on the bull’s head, the farming family used to consider it divine. The name ‘Nandi’ was given to the bull because of the nadu on the mapuram. The farmer did not want to sell the bull even though many people came forward to buy it for lakhs of rupees. But, the members of the farmer’s family were moved to tears by the accidental death of this bull.

Further, this bull has won 28 prizes across the state so far. This 18-year-old bull has been ready for competition since the tenth year. The farmer’s family is mourning the death of such a bull. He was buried traditionally in his farm.
