The Department of AYUSH has declared that there are no harmful substances in Anandayya Natumandu. Anandayya said that a total of 18 herbs were used for this medicine. AYUSH Commissioner Ramu said that they have been fully discussed and the details have been communicated to Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Meanwhile, CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy conducted a review on Kovid 19 control, prevention and vaccination at the Thadepalli Chief Minister’s Camp office. On this occasion Krishnapatnam discussed Ayurvedic medicine. State AYUSH Commissioner briefed CM Jagan on Krishnapatnam drug review meeting. Ramu later revealed the details to the media. Anandayya said a full report on the drug would be available in another four to five days. He says most people are saying they benefited from the drug.
” Organizers say more than 70 to 80,000 people have been given the drug so far. All the ingredients used in medicine are accepted by Ayurveda. But, there are some difficulties that Ayurveda has to detect in advance. Any drug that is not in the books of Classical Ayurvedic Medicine will have to undergo clinical trials. It is also important to know in what dosage those ingredients are being used. There is no such thing as an ayurvedic medicine. This drug cannot be considered as a drug for Kovid. There is no need to insult the ‘root drug’. There is use due to that drug. “Most people take drugs and one of them may have problems,” Ramu said.
Ramu also said that he was not aware of any medical complications associated with the use of the drug and would seek the advice of an ophthalmologist. Cant said there were some suspicions on the dots and a decision would be made on that once they were cleared. “There are three ingredients in eye drops. According to Ayurveda, there is no harm due to those three. Factors such as quality need to be considered. Corona cases were found to be low in the area after the gammas were investigated. Corona deaths are also in the area. We explained the full details to the CM. We will submit the full report in another four to five days, ”Ramu said.
