There have been massive IAS transfers in Andhra Pradesh. The Jagan government issued orders transferring 20 IAS officers at once. In particular, Gandham Chandradu, who was the District Collector of Anantapur, has been transferred as the Director of Village and Ward Secretariats. The government has also transferred Krishna District Collector Intiaz as Special Secretary for Minority Welfare. Nagalakshmi has been appointed as the Anantapur District Collector and J. Nivas as the Krishna District Collector.
Gandham Chandradu and Intiaj, on the other hand, are reputed to have performed well as collectors of Anantapur and Krishna. Gandham Chandra in particular brought revolutionary changes in Anantapur district and gained special recognition across the state. Dharmavaram MLA Kethireddy Venkatramireddy’s recent slanders against Collector Gandham Chandradu have caused a stir across the state.
In this context, it is good news that Gandham Chandradu has been transferred as the Anantapur District Collector. On Friday afternoon, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy lauded the moon for its contribution to the corona building. However, the collector was transferred overnight. Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on the occasion of the inauguration of the temporary Kovid Hospital in Tadipatri congratulated District Collector Gandham Chandradu on ‘Chandrudu .. Good job’. Kovid congratulated the district authority for building the hospital on a war footing to utilize the oxygen reserves available during the difficult times.

Collector Chandra was happy to receive congratulations from Chief Minister Jagan. According to the Chief Minister, there is no need to say that there is no bed for those who come to the hospital. Congratulations from the Chief Minister for their hard work is a bonus.
Speaking to media after the inaugural function, Gandham Chandradu said that as per the directions of Chief Minister YS Jagan, beds will be allotted to the people of Kadapa and Kurnool districts in the hospital. In just 14 days, officials of various departments worked in coordination and made an impossibility possible. However, the transfer of the collector sandalwood moon within hours of this happening was the talk of the town.
