Ramakrishna has alleged in the petition that the government has issued a conspiracy to strangle the throats of every party in AP. The Division Bench opined that this is contrary to the JIO rules issued by the government. It has issued notices to the state government to file a counter. The next hearing was adjourned to 20th of this month. Opposition parties are protesting all over the state demanding cancellation of Jive number-1.
CPI Ramakrishna requested the court to hear this petition urgently. However, the AG has made it clear that he does not want to take this petition urgently. The AG opined that the existing Chench has no jurisdiction to hear the PIL. The vacation court has made it clear that they will hear the PIL urgently. As part of this inquiry, AG Sriram heard arguments on behalf of the government. He said that the government does not have any information on the PIL. According to the rules, there is no scope for this case to be included in the roster. The vacation bench should not hear cases of policy decisions.
