Andhra student trapped in the middle of the train platform died without treatment

Visakhapatnam: An Andhra student who got stuck in the middle of the train platform and was rescued died without treatment.

Sasikala (20) hails from Annavaram, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. He is studying first year of MCA in a private college in Duvvada near Visakhapatnam. He goes to college everyday by train from his hometown.

In this case, yesterday also he traveled to college by Guntur-Rayagada Express train as usual. Then when it reached Duvwada railway station, the train stopped. Then Sasikala got down from the train. At that time he lost his footing and fell between the train and the platform. His waist was caught between the platform and the train.

The train stopped immediately. After about 2 hours of struggle, the platform was demolished and Sasikala was rescued safely. After that, he was admitted to Visakhapatnam KIMS Government Hospital for treatment. In this case, the student died without treatment.

Regarding the death of the student, the doctors said, “The kidney bags of the student were severely damaged and blood was leaking. Due to this, his internal organs were affected and he died.”
