Andhra’s struggle in the Ranji Trophy is over. Unexpectedly, Andhra team reached the quarter finals and lost to Madhya Pradesh in the knockout match. Andhra lost the toss and batted first. Rikki Bhui (149), Karan Shinde (110) centuries Badada scored 379 runs in the first innings. Madhya Pradesh were bowled out for 228 runs as Guntur bowler Prithviraj Yarra took five wickets. Andhra, who had a lead of 151 runs in the first innings, faltered in the second innings.

Madhya Pradesh bowlers Avesh Khan and Gaurav Yadav were bowled out for 93 runs. Ashwin Hebbar was the top scorer with 35 runs. Retired Hurt due to wrist fracture in first innings.. Bengal won the match against Jharkhand by 9 wickets at Eden Gardens. They hit the target of 67 runs in the last innings with the loss of one wicket. All these matches ended on the fourth day. The match between Saurashtra and Punjab is going to be interesting.

Saurashtra, who lost 8 wickets for 147 runs in the first innings, managed to score 303 runs after the number 9 batsman Parth Bhutt scored a century.
