Andrés Hurtado’s former assistant, known as ‘Chamo’, has revealed a series of shocking revelations about the true origin of the luxury that surrounds the presenter’s daughters, Josetty and Génnesis Hurtado. In a recent interview on Beto Ortiz’s show, ‘Chamo’ detailed how the young women’s apparent success as content creators could be a facade to hide a money laundering scheme.
According to the former assistant, who worked with Andrés Hurtado for six years, the presenter’s daughters do not really have the resources they appear to have. El Chamo stated that Josetty and Gennesis’ expensive lifestyle, which includes clothes from luxury brands such as Prada and Louis Vuitton, Rolls Royce cars and a house on Rodeo Drive, is largely financed by their father through questionable methods.
The revelations of ‘Chamo’
“El Chamo,” a former Venezuelan employee, explained to “Beto a saber” that Andrés Hurtado uses his employees to transfer money to the United States in amounts that do not exceed the bank limits, thus avoiding having to declare the origin of the money. “The bank does not allow you to send more than 7 thousand dollars without justifying where it comes from. So, since there are so many of us, he would say: you send 6 thousand, another 6,500, so he would send it to the United States,” said the former assistant.

In addition, ‘El Chamo’ revealed that the mother of Hurtado’s daughters, who resides in Miami, is also supported with these funds. “Mr. Andrés pays for everything, through his workers. He sends the money,” he added. These testimonies cast doubt on the veracity of Josetty and Gennesis’ success as influencers, suggesting that their life of opulence is maintained by a money laundering scheme.
Additional implications and accusations
The revelations are not limited only to the financing of the luxurious lifestyle of Hurtado’s daughters. El Chamo also implicated several officials in these irregular activities. He mentioned that the prosecutor Elizabeth Peralta received expensive gifts and services, such as dental work and trips for her children, financed by Andrés Hurtado. “The prosecutor was always given good care. Baskets, getting her teeth fixed, she had it arranged by Dr. Posada. In other words, all those expenses, absolutely everything, were paid for by Mr. Andrés,” said the former assistant.

In addition, ‘El Chamo’ pointed out that Dr. Posada, in charge of these dental arrangements, also treated other prosecutors, judges and singers, suggesting a broader network of favors and corruption. He also mentioned that Roxana del Águila, former superintendent of Immigration, also received money from Hurtado.
The seriousness of the accusations increases when considering the implications of influence peddling and bribery, in addition to the crimes of money laundering. “Siucho was able to travel, Siucho was able to become a Chinese, that’s why. And the issue of ‘Chifa’ (Javier Miu Lei) is also correct. (…) I told the security guards: go to ‘Chifa’ and pick up this order for me,” explained ‘El Chamo’.
Josetty Hurtado defends her life as an influencer
A few weeks ago, Josetty Hurtado used her digital platforms to defend herself from criticism and doubts about her life as an influencer. In response to questions about the source of her fortune, Josetty stated that her success as a content creator is the result of her effort and dedication. “Ignorant people who think you need more than a million followers to earn very well as an influencer,” she wrote, referring to those who doubt the authenticity of her income.

However, Josetty’s words contrast with the revelations of ‘El Chamo’, which suggest that the opulence displayed on his social networks is financed by his father through illicit activities. This situation has generated increasing media attention and the opening of investigations into Andrés Hurtado.
