San Francisco. Following its initial release earlier this year, Google has now made Android’s Nearby Share feature available for Windows PCs in almost all countries around the world, marking a significant expansion of its reach. Google said in a blogpost that we are very pleased to announce that Nearby Share for Windows is now available worldwide, so more of your devices can work better together.
Through Nearby Share, Android users can share files wirelessly with their PC, whether desktop or laptop, and through Android’s native menu.
Google initially limited the feature to only a few countries, with a primary focus on the US.
Now, according to Google’s support page, the Nearby Share beta for Windows PC is available in the US and most countries around the world, however, support is currently unavailable for Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria.
Users can easily set up Nearby Share Beta for Windows by downloading and installing the app on their PC.
Meanwhile, Google has released content designed for you for its Nearby Share app on Android phones and tablets.
The content you modify brings visual changes to the main UI users interact with on the Nearby Share app.(IANS)
