Annemieke organizes demonstration for the right to abortion: “That is not obvious here either”

The news that the right to abortion in the United States is in danger of being reversed hit Annemieke van Straalen so hard that she wanted to do something. ,,I can usually let bad news slide off me, but now a few hours later I was still with a knot in my stomach. I’ve never had an abortion, but the subject really moves me. What you do with your body is your choice. No one should appropriate your body. Banning abortion is a direct attack on women’s right to self-determination, on our humanity.”
