The local administration has clarified that the temple in Mithi city of Tharparkar district of Pakistan’s Sindh province has been razed on the orders of the court. However, former Pakistani cricketer Danish Kaneria tweeted a video of some protesting against the destruction of the temple shouting Hindu religious slogans inside the temple.
These people protested against the destruction of the temple by flying, holding picassis and standing for protection, but the government authorities destroyed the temple as per the court order. Former Pakistani cricketer Danish Kaneria has condemned this, saying that Pakistani government officials have continued their attacks on Hindu religious places. Danish Kaneria said that the temple was razed after the court ordered to vacate the encroachment.
In a video tweeted by Danish Kaneria, protesters can be seen chanting ‘Jai Mata Di’ and protesting against the government’s move. On the pretext of clearing encroachment in the name of the court order, Kaneria expressed his anger by tweeting that Tharparkar district administration officials have destroyed the temple.
This is not the first temple destruction in Pakistan!
Many Hindu temples have been vandalized in Pakistan in the past few months. Not only the Hindu temple, but also the Sikh Gurudwara and the Christian Church were razed by miscreants. Miscreants vandalized 5 churches in Faisalabad district in the month of August this year. Temples were destroyed on charges of blasphemy. A case was registered against 129 people in this connection.
Blasphemy is punishable by death in Pakistan. However, no one has been sentenced to death in Pakistan on this charge so far. Miscreants misusing this act attack mandirs, churches and gurdwaras all of a sudden, alleging blasphemy. Hundreds of miscreants attack suddenly and demolish the temples in no time. Such incidents have taken place in many places across Pakistan.
