Mumbai, Mumbai Police has got another success in the firing case at the house of Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Mumbai Police has arrested another member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in connection with the shooting that took place last month. Officials gave information about this matter on Tuesday.
An official said that the accused of (Lawrence Bishnoi) gang has been identified as 34-year-old Harpal Singh. The accused is a resident of Fatehabad, Haryana. A team of Mumbai Crime Branch arrested the accused from his hometown on Monday evening. He said that accused Harpal Singh was brought to Mumbai early on Tuesday and he will be presented in the court today. Mumbai Police has so far arrested a total of 6 people in this case.

The officer said that accused Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary, another member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang, had revealed Singh’s involvement in the case during interrogation. Let us tell you that the police (Mumbai Police) had arrested Rafiq Chaudhary earlier this month. Police said that Singh had asked Rafiq Chaudhary to do ‘Reiki’ around Salman Khan’s residence and had also given him Rs 2 to 3 lakh for this work. The names of Lawrence Bishnoi and his younger brother Anmol Bishnoi, currently lodged in Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, have come up in the firing case. It is believed that Anmol is in America or Canada.

Let us tell you that on April 14, there was firing outside the residence of Salman Khan in Galaxy Apartment located in Bandra area of Mumbai. Two people riding a bike had fired several rounds at Salman Khan’s house. The accused had fled from the spot after the firing. Now the Mumbai Crime Branch is investigating the case. In this sequence, the police (Mumbai Police) has so far arrested 6 accused.
