Antonov called Pentagon statements against Russia offensive

Statements by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby against Russia are insulting and unacceptable. This was announced on April 30 by Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov.

“We consider J. Kirby’s statements against Russia offensive and unacceptable. It is surprising that such provocative theses come from a former military man who is well aware of the significance of the word, ”Antonov’s words are quoted on the page of the Russian diplomatic mission in Telegram.

As the Russian diplomat noted, Russian officials “never allowed themselves such statements regarding the leadership of the United States of America.” According to him, it has become the norm in the United States for administration officials to base their judgments on the lies of the Ukrainian authorities.

At the same time, according to the ambassador, the White House does not want to notice “the countless crimes of the Kyiv regime.”

Judging by the fact, he believes, that Washington continues to supply Ukraine with weapons, the American authorities, apparently, are not interested in a ceasefire.

“The main thing for J. Kirby and his ilk is that the American military-industrial complex receives additional income by clearing its warehouses of obsolete weapons. J. Kirby lost the dignity of an American officer, stooping to public insults. He should be ashamed for having tarnished the honor of his uniform, ”concluded the Russian ambassador to Washington.
