Mumbai Anurag Kashyap, who has received praise for his direction and acting, has decided to leave Mumbai. Anurag, who openly put forward the issues related to Hindi cinema before the world, has revealed that he is fed up with Bollywood. That’s why he is leaving Mumbai sadly.
The reason for Anurag Kashyap, who has directed powerful films like Paanch, Black Friday, Dev D, Gulaal and Gangs of Wasseypur, leaving Mumbai is the talent management agencies which are wooing new artists and giving them the best talent. She is focusing on making stars rather than making actors.
Anurag Kashyap said, “Now it has become difficult for me to go out and experiment because it comes with a cost which makes my producers think about profit and margin. Right from the beginning, even before the release of the film, consideration is given to how to sell it. Because of this the joy of film making goes away.” Anurag Kashyap told that only remakes are being made in Bollywood. Film makers are not doing anything new. He is tired of this mentality.
Anurag Kashyap is going to gain recognition in the South film industry after Bollywood. According to the director, “So I want to move out of Mumbai next year. I am going south. I want to go where there’s excitement. Otherwise I will die as an old man. I am very disappointed and upset with my own industry. I hate the mentality.”
