Bhubaneswar: State Health Minister Naba Kishore was killed by a bullet in his chest when a police inspector opened fire in Odisha. This incident has created a stir there.

Then a police inspector who was nearby suddenly fired at the minister. In this, 2 bullets hit the minister’s chest.
Minister Naba Kishore, who fell in a pool of blood, was immediately rushed to the hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit. Doctors said his condition was critical, but he continued to be given life-saving treatments. Minister Naba Kishore passed away despite intensive treatment to no avail. He is 61 years old.
Investigation revealed that the shooter at the minister was Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Gopal Das working at Gandhi Chowk outpost.
Condolences to Chief Minister Patnaik
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the shooting death of Odisha Health Minister. Stating that this incident is very shocking, the Chief Minister has also ordered a detailed investigation into the incident at the highest level.
In this case, the police arrested Assistant Sub-Inspector Gopal Das, who shot the minister. He is being seriously investigated.
The slain health minister Nabakishor Das was the richest MLA in the state. According to the information provided to the government last year, he has assets of Rs.34 crore.
