Appeal to the government: Petition filed in High Court for Advocate Protection Act, request to ensure security

The petition has been filed by Advocate LN Parashar, former President of Faridabad Bar Association and Chairman of Judicial Reform Struggle Committee.

Advocate LN Parashar, former President of Faridabad Bar Association and Chairman of Judicial Reforms Sangharsh Samiti, has filed a writ in the High Court for the Advocates Protection Act. He said that incidents happen with lawyers on a daily basis in different parts of the state. In such a situation, the safety of the lawyers who provide justice to the common man should be ensured.

Let us tell you that in the past, Parashar had demanded the Chief Minister, the Governor and the Home Minister to implement the Advocate Protection Act through an application. In the same episode, he has filed a writ in the High Court for its implementation. Parashar told that inside the court, the advocates work against the biggest criminal to get justice to the victim by putting their lives at risk. It has been seen many times that lawyers continue to receive threats and there are deadly attacks on them. He said that considering the fragility of the time, the Advocates Act should be implemented. If needed, he talked about going to the Supreme Court.
