San Francisco. Tech company Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 Pro smartphone will be equipped with 8 GB RAM. This information was given in media reports. As per a MacRumors report, the tech giant will ‘rally bump up the capacity and specifications’ of the RAM for the upcoming iPhone 15 models.
For comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro models come equipped with 6GB of RAM.
While the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus smartphones are expected to stick to 6GB of RAM, it could be upgraded to faster RAM, as was the case with the iPhone 14 Pro models last year.
The increased RAM can benefit multitasking on the iPhone by enabling more applications to run in the background at once.
The RAM upgrade will improve overall performance along with the A17 Bionic CPU expected for the iPhone 15 Pro model.
The report states that the tech giant may launch the iPhone 15 series at a press event in September this year.
Last month, it was reported that the iPhone 15 Pro models will have ultra-thin, curved bezels compared to the iPhone 14 Pro models.(IANS)
