San Francisco. Tech giant Apple has leaked AirPods case designs that are said to feature a built-in touchscreen display. As MacRumors reports, a newly published patent states that this technology will allow users to control audio sources and interact with applications connected to a connected device.
The patent was filed by the iPhone maker in September 2021 and was published by the US Patent and Trademark Office last week titled ‘Devices, methods and graphical user interface interaction with a headphone case’.
The patent noted, “The utility of a headphone case can be increased by configuring the headphone case with an interactive user interface to enable user control of operations connected to the wireless headphones and to provide user control over the user’s wireless headphones.” Can be improved.”
The case is expected to include additional processors and memory modules that will allow it to carry out specific instructions that are traditionally associated with smartphones, computers and other connected devices, the report said.(IANS)
