Apple’s website showed on Wednesday that it had reduced the prices of its iPhone 14 series in China, after launching the new iPhone 15 series.
The website revealed that the price of the 128 GB version of the iPhone 14 dropped by 600 yuan to 5,399 yuan ($740.50), while the iPhone 14 Plus is priced at 5,999 yuan, down from 6,999 yuan.
On Tuesday, Apple launched its new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus series.
The advanced titanium-coated iPhone 15 Pro will come in black, blue and silver. Apple executives tout how light and thin the metal is, while also emphasizing the strength of titanium.
The harder titanium material will cover both iPhone 15 Pro models. Currently, they use aluminum, which is less durable.
During Apple’s presentation, which is a pre-recorded video, the company said that both iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models include the Dynamic Island feature and an advanced camera system. The powerful 48MP main camera allows for high-resolution photos and a new 2x optical zoom option gives users three levels of optical zoom, as if they had a third camera.
