San Francisco | Apple has announced a multibillion-dollar agreement with US-based technology and advanced manufacturing company Broadcom to develop 5G radio frequency components, including FBAR filters and advanced wireless connectivity components. According to the company, FBAR filters will be designed and manufactured in several major US manufacturing and technology hubs, including Fort Collins, Colorado, where Broadcom has a major facility.
“All Apple products are designed and manufactured in America, and we will continue to strengthen our investments in the American economy because of our unwavering faith in America’s future,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a statement.
