San Francisco | Tech company Apple’s upcoming OLED iPad Pro will cost as much as the MacBook Pro. Apple Insider reports citing a new supply chain report that the tech giant’s new iPad Pro models with OLED screens, expected to be released next year, will cost up to 80 percent more than the current release.
Rumor has it that the 11-inch iPad Pro with OLED display will cost 80 percent more than the current model and will start around $1,500.
On the other hand, the 12.9-inch edition will be 60 percent more expensive and will start at $1,800.
In addition, the iPhone maker is in pricing discussions with LG Display and Samsung Display.
Meanwhile, last month it was reported that the tech giant has ordered OLED panels from LG Display and Samsung for its upcoming iPad Pro model, which is expected to launch next year.(IANS)
