Al Wasl Football Company announced its official contract with Argentine Nicholas Jimenez in a free transfer from Bani Yas, to become the first “Emperor” deal for the next season.
Al-Wasl published a video clip on his Twitter account while Kmenez was signing his contract to join Al-Wasl, and his arrival at Zabeel Stadium, as he will wear shirt No. 31 with the “Panthers”.
Jimenez’s contract with Al Wasl extends for three seasons, after he had joined Bani Yas in the 2020-2021 season from the Argentine club Talleres Atletico for a season on loan with an option to buy, and after the player presented a distinguished level as the first star of the team thanks to his high skills as one of the best Foreign players, and the Bani Yas administration made an option to buy the player, and signed a contract with him for two seasons in a final transfer deal, before his contract with Al-Samawi expired at the end of the current season.
Jimenez played with Bani Yas 74 matches in the ADNOC Professional League, during which he scored 23 goals, as he scored eight goals in his first season with the team, and the same in the second season, and in the current season that ended, he scored seven goals.
The Argentine jewel also succeeded in scoring a goal in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, and scored three goals with Al-Samawi in the President’s Cup. Jimenez (27 years) is considered the most Bani Yas player on goal in the season ending with 56 shots, the third most league player with 70 correct dribbles, and the third most successful player in confrontations with 156 confrontations, and 50 influential passes.
