Jyoti arrived at a Saudi house in Dammam a month ago as a housemaid. Two weeks later, she began to show signs of mental illness as she became depressed and unable to adapt to the new circumstances. They later ran out of the house and wandered the streets. Seeing this, the Saudi police placed them in the Dammam Women’s Shelter.
At the women’s shelter, Jyoti was told to leave the country as soon as possible and behaved violently. Following this, Saudi authorities informed the New Age charities.

Shortly after the Eid holiday, the women’s shelter authorities sealed off Jyoti’s final exit. Navayugam Kudumbavedi handed over the plane ticket to Jyoti. After completing the legal process, Jyoti returned to Mumbai via Dammam Airport.
