Arsenal Football Club announced today, Tuesday, the extension of its contract with Egyptian star Mohamed Elneny, until June 2024.
And the club said in a statement on its official website: “Mohamed, 30, is a member of the team who enjoys appreciation and experience, and he is currently the most staying player in the ranks of the team that he joined from Swiss Basel in January 2016.”
The club added, “Our Egyptian international player participated in 155 matches with us in all competitions. He scored six goals and assisted ten goals during the seven-year period he spent at the club.”
For his part, Mohamed Elneny said: “I am very happy, I adore this club and our fans very much, and I will do everything I have to help us be in the best possible condition every day that I am here.”
And about being the player who stayed the most with the team, Al-Nani said: “I am very proud to have represented this wonderful club since 2016. The spirit and togetherness we have in the team are very positive things, and I am very happy to extend my contract.”
