Zagreb: The Zagreb Open wrestling tournament is being held in Zagreb, Croatia. In the men’s 67kg category, Graeco Roman, India’s Ashu played against Lithuania’s Adamas Krigaliunas in the bronze medal match. The 23-year-old Ashu won the match 5-0 and bagged the bronze medal.
Ashu had earlier lost 0-9 to Iran’s Reza Mahdi Abbasi in the qualifiers. He qualified for the bronze medal round by defeating Hungary’s Adam Folek 8-0 and Norway’s Howard Jorgensen 9-0 in the repechage round.
