The wedding ceremony of Prince Abdul Mateen, son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, who has ruled Brunei since 1984, was held at the gold-domed ‘Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque’ in Bandar Seri Begwan on Thursday.
The royal dignitaries witnessed the colorful wedding ceremony of 32-year-old Prince Abdul Mateen, who is called ‘Asia’s Most Elizabethan Bachelor’, and 29-year-old beauty Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah. Anisha Rosnah, a daughter-in-law of the royal family, is the granddaughter of one of Sultan Hassanal Bolakiah’s advisers. Family members blessed the newlyweds, who were spotted in traditional Bruneian wedding attire. The ceremony was then completed with a 17-round gun salute.
