He added: The ′′ 17-year-old ′′ Egyptian winger signed a pre-contract agreement with the club. Omar Khadr will join Aston Villa on July 1, 2024, at the age of 18, when he will sign a long-term contract.
This agreement marks the first signing of the player since Aston Villa and ZFC entered into a cooperation agreement earlier this year.
He continued: Signing this exciting talent is an important step for the Aston Villa Academy. The Egyptian under-17 national team player attracted the admiration and interest of a large number of international clubs.
Omar Khadr spent some time at the Aston Villa training center earlier this month, where he visited the High Performance Center and met the stars of the first team and coach Unai Emery. He was accompanied by the legend of the Egyptian club, Ahmed Al-Mohammadi.
