People in the national capital Delhi are soon going to get relief from the broken roads, for which from this morning the ministers and MLAs of the Delhi government (Atishi cabinet) have come out on the roads and every meter of the 1400 kilometer long roads of PWD is being inspected. Former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj have reached East Delhi at 6 am on Monday morning. Actually, Arvind Kejriwal had written a letter to CM Atishi regarding the condition of the roads, after which in the All Minister meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party, a decision was taken to inspect the roads of Delhi and repair them. After this, CM Atishi told in a press conference that the roads of Delhi will be inspected in the next one week, after which PWD will be given the target of making these roads pothole free.
In this sequence, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia inspected the broken roads of his area in the morning along with officials of the Public Works Department. Sisodia (Manish Sisodia) posted on X that on the instructions of Arvind Kejriwal, inspected the road in front of Mother Dairy in East Delhi this morning. The condition of the road in front of Mother Dairy is bad. There are potholes at many places. Now it will be made pothole free in the next few days.
Swati Maliwal has taken a dig at the AAP government by posting on this entire matter on social media. While posting pictures of the bad roads of Kirari area of Delhi on his social media handle X, he wrote, “CM 1 had to write a letter to CM 2 and tell him that the roads in Delhi are very bad. CM 2 (Atishi) was the minister of PWD and dozens of ministries for many months but she did not know that the public was facing such a problem.”
