New Delhi. Manish Sisodia, who was in jail for 17 months in the Delhi liquor policy case, finally got bail from the Supreme Court. When Delhi’s Education Minister and AAP leader Atishi was asked for her reaction in this regard, she started crying. Actually, she was participating in a public program, during which she said that today truth has won.
Atishi further said that the students of Delhi have won. He (Manish Sisodia) was put in jail because he provided good education to poor children. AAP leaders today termed the Supreme Court’s decision as ‘victory of truth’. The Supreme Court said that keeping him in jail for such a long time without punishment would be a mockery of justice.
Sanjay Singh wrote on his ex that after a long wait of 17 months, we (Manish Sisodia) have got this victory. I want to ask PM Modi and BJP that till when will they continue doing politics of revenge? This order of the Supreme Court is a strong slap on the dictatorship of the Modi government.
Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal said, “I am very happy that Manish Sisodia has got bail, I hope that he will lead the Delhi government and work well.” At the same time, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said that bail does not mean that the accused is not guilty. Manish Sisodia has been released on bail but the investigation is still going on. BJP always respects the decision of the court, those who are writing Satyamev Jayate today, their throats were dry last week.
