The BJP is working on the state office on the selection of Atmakuru candidate. State President Somu Weeraraj held discussions with the BJP election committee for over four hours. Six party leaders have applied to run in the by-elections. The BJP leadership is considering the candidatures of BJP leaders Ravindra Reddy and Sudhakar Reddy, among others.
Atmakuru gave a chance on June 9 to those who wanted to withdraw by-election nominations. Polling on June 23. Votes will be counted on the 26th.
