Australia Fall To 101 In First Test Against Sri Lanka

Australia, who faltered on Thursday in the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle, finally took a 101-run lead at the end of the day. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 212 in 59 overs. Australia, then playing the first innings, were 313/8 at the close of play today. Currently Australia have a 101-run first innings lead.

Opener Usman Khawaja (7×4 off 71: 130 balls) scored a half-century for Australia, along with another opener David Warner (5×4 off 25 balls), Marquez Labushen (13), former captain Steve Smith (6) and Travis Head (6).
