Noida | Delhi-based auto component maker JBM Auto has unveiled several new buses including City-Intercity and Electric Galaxy Coaches at the Auto Expo 2023. The models JBM EcoLife Electric City Bus, JBM Abiz Life Electric Bus and JBM E-School Life Electric Bus, one product each for city travel, corporate travel and school transit, were launched during the show. During the launch, Nishant Arya, Vice Chairman, JBM Auto, said that electric buses with solutions that are sustainable, safe, reliable and profitable will meet the growing needs of the market. JBM did not reveal the price of the coach but said it will have all modern amenities and technology. According to JBM, Galaxy Coach is powered by high energy density advanced lithium-ion battery, offering up to 1,000 km per day range.
Meanwhile, the joint venture between Volvo and Eicher Motors has launched India’s longest 13.5 meter electric bus at the Auto Expo 2023. The joint venture has also introduced the Eicher Pro 2049 Electric 4.9Ý GVW truck model.
