Ayyappa Swamy: Telangana president Bhairi Naresh, the president of OU student and Indian atheist society, has created a stir in the Telugu states recently by denigrating the birth of Ayyappa Swamy against Hindu gods and goddesses. In protest against Bhairi Naresh’s remarks, Ayyappa Maladhars and Hindu Sanghas in Telugu states started a large-scale agitation. While many cases were registered against Bhairi Naresh in Telugu states, Ayyappa Swamulu backed down when the police finally registered cases against him and arrested him. With this, the dispute was somewhat settled.

Swarupanandendra Saraswati Swamy, the president of Visakha Sri Sarada recently responded to Bhairi Naresh’s comments. He strongly criticized Bhairi Naresh’s comments. He said that Ayyappaswamy is very powerful and Sabarimala has a great reputation all over the world. Swarupanandendra Swamy criticized Ayyappaswamy’s insulting remarks as bad manners. Those who sell to other religions and those who sell to foreign religions are making such comments.

Swarupanandendra Swamy commented that some people are provoking the sentiments of Hindus by insulting Ayyappa Swamy. He suggested that the society is being broken with such comments and the Jagan and KCR governments should open their eyes to stop such things. Governments should recognize that not only minorities but also Hindus are voters. They demanded that Hindu devotees also have a mind and put those who insult Hindu Gods in jail. Swarupanandendra Saraswathi Swamy requested that the accused should be given appropriate punishment so that such incidents do not happen in future in the Telugu states.

Swaroopanandendra Swamy alleged that some Hindu gods and goddesses are deliberately making comments insulting them. They demanded that the government should file cases against such people and put them in jail. He criticized that because of such people, there are conflicts between castes and religions in the society and they are trying to create a wedge between castes. Swarupanandendra demanded the Telugu state governments to take strict action against those who create discord between castes and religions.
