New Delhi: During the recently concluded special session of the Parliament, there has been a complaint that the BJP MP, Ramesh Bidwari, had criticized Amroha Bahujan Samaj MP Danish Ali in a low quality manner while speaking in the Lok Sabha. In this situation, the opposition parties including the Congress, which supported Danish Ali, insisted that action should be taken against Ramesh Bidwari. The party has taken action against Danish Ali as this issue has become serious.
In this case, Danish Ali was suspended yesterday for engaging in anti-party activities.
In a press release issued by Bahujan Samaj Party led by former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati said:
The party leadership had advised you (Danish Ali) not to engage in anti-party activities. In spite of that, it has been reported that you are involved in anti-party activities. It has been revealed that you worked for the party led by former Prime Minister Deve Gowda during the 2018 Karnataka elections. At that time the Bahujan Party and Deve Gowda’s secular Janata Dal jointly contested the elections. You are given the opportunity to work together.
Following this, you contested and won the Amroha Lok Sabha constituency on behalf of the Bahujan Samaj Party. But you have forgotten the promises made then and are continuing to engage in anti-party activities. So we suspend you from the party. It says so.
It is noteworthy that the BSP did not mention the specific reason for suspension from the party.
Trinamool Congress MP Danish Ali raised a slogan in the Lok Sabha, tying a banner around his neck, condemning the suspension of Mahua Moitra. It is said that this is why the party has suspended him.
