Wearing a sweatshirt and winter cap, Balayya reached the house of brother-in-law Chandrababu Naidu while jogging. Local police also jogged along with Balakrishna. He ran away along with SI and Constable Balayya who went as security. Balakrishna is jogging even at the age of 62. After jogging, Balayya chilled at a bonfire. Greeting those there with Bhogi and Sankranti greetings. He said that he is happy to have made a good film like ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ directed by Gopichand Malineni.

Meanwhile, the movie ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ which was released on 12th of this month has collected good collections on the first day. ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ became the best opener in Balakrishna’s career. This movie grossed Rs.54 Crores worldwide on the first day. This includes distributor share of Rs.28 crores. However, on the second day, the collection of this film has decreased drastically. It is said that the film ‘Waltheru Veeraiya’ was released on Friday, and the effect has been felt on ‘Veerasimha Reddy’. But analysts predict that the collections will pick up again on Saturday and Sunday.
Balakrishna’s previous film ‘Akhanda’ grossed Rs 28 crore worldwide on its first day. Compared to this, the movie ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ grossed Rs. 26 crore more.
