Akkineni Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya are the heroes of the movie ‘Bangarraju’. Nagarjuna Akkineni produced the film under the banner of Zee Studio and Annapurna Studios under the direction of Kalyana Krishna. It was released as a sequel to ‘Soggade Chinna Nayana’, the highest grosser of Nagarjuna’s career, released for Sankranthi in 2016. Nagarjuna completed the film with the target of releasing the film for the Sankranti festival. However, Bangaraju is ready to come out with films like RRR, Radhe Shyam, Bhimla Naik and Sarkaruvari Patam, even though they are already in Bari. However, due to Corona, theaters have been shut down all over the country and the big budget star films RRR and Radhe Shyam have been postponed. Bhimla Naik, who had stepped back for these two films, could not wait for Bangaraju as he could not come to Sankranthi as the government song was there. Two of the Akkineni heroes are acting. With the sequel to the hit movie, the expectations on the movie have been formed. Bangaraju got good reviews as the talk was that the film was also a fun festival film. According to trade sources, the first day of ‘Bangarraju’ grossed Rs 13.30 crore. Of this, Rs 12.40 crore came from Central India and Rs 90 lakh from overseas. If Bangarraju’s share yields are taken into account, it would be Rs 2 crore in Nizam, Rs 1.75 crore in Seeded, Rs 89 lakh in Guntur, Rs 45 lakh in Krishna, Rs 34 lakh in Nellore, Rs 65 lakh in East, Rs 75 lakh in Uttaranchal and Rs 1 crore 25 lakh. In total, the two Telugu states together accounted for Rs 8.08 crore per share. If it strikes at the same speed, it’s sure to make a comeback.
