The police present on the spot took this fan to the hospital. The video of the beating of this super fan of Bangladesh is becoming increasingly viral on social media. According to the information received, this person, popularly known as Robbie Tiger, is a big fan of Bangladesh cricket team and reaches the stadium in every match to support his team.
According to media reports, Robbie Tiger had also come to Kanpur Test to encourage his team. Robbie was raising slogans while waving the flag of Bangladesh. Then he got into an argument with some local fans. During this, he was beaten badly and he became unconscious. However, no official confirmation has been made regarding the assault.
During this time, the police personnel deployed at the stadium, after getting information about the incident, gave first aid to the Bangladeshi fan and then seeing the pain, took him to the nearest hospital. Many videos of police personnel taking Robbie out of the stadium are going viral on social media. During this, Robbie said, “People kicked and punched my stomach and back. I am having trouble breathing. However, no official confirmation has been made regarding the assault. The police have denied the allegations made by Robbie.”
