Bani Yas will face Al Wasl in the quarter-finals of the Professional League Cup (Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup), after renewing its victory over its host Dibba Al Hisn, with three goals without a response, yesterday, in the second leg of the preliminary round at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium.

Serbian Lazar Markovic concluded the visiting team’s goals, after a distinguished individual effort that ended with him dribbling past the goalkeeper, before putting the ball into the net (90+3).
Bani Yas took advantage of the numerical deficit that befell Dibba Al-Hisn early in the match, specifically in the 10th minute, after the referee showed the Montenegrin, Niska Vujanovic, a direct red card after a violent intervention with Al-Samawi goalkeeper Fahad Al-Dhanhani, to clearly control the course of the match.
In the second match, which was held at the same time at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium, Al Jazira secured qualification to the second round of the Professional Cup to face Al Ain in that stage of the competition, despite losing to its host Al Bataeh 1-2, but it benefited from its victory in the first leg 3-1.
Al Jazira took the lead first from a penalty kick, after Amon Miraz was obstructed by Al Bataeh captain Mohammed Ahmed, and the video technology approved it, so Miraz took the penalty kick and successfully executed it into the net (45+4).
Cameroonian striker Anatoli Bertrend managed to equalize for Al Bataeh late in the match after a pass from Aziz Ganiev, who headed it into the goal (84). In stoppage time, Brazilian Antonio Fialho managed to give Al Bataeh the lead, adding the second goal from a direct corner kick (90+8), but the goal was not enough to qualify.
