The atmosphere of enthusiasm continued in the competitions of the second day of the first round in the second edition of the “Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship”, amid the presence of a large crowd of families who flocked to Mubadala Arena to encourage their sons and daughters and enjoy the competitive atmosphere and accompanying entertainment activities.
The first round of the tournament on its second day attracted a wide participation from the junior category (under 14 and 16 years), who competed with vigor and enthusiasm on the mat, and demonstrated the highest standards of discipline, perseverance and determination to achieve victory.
At the end of the second day’s competitions, Baniyas Club came at the top of the standings, while Al Ain Club achieved runner-up position, and Sharjah Self-Defense Sports came in third place.
The second day of the tournament was attended by the Vice President of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, the Federation’s Board Member, Mohammed Humaid bin Dalmuj Al Dhaheri, the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, the Director General of Strategic Affairs at the Government Empowerment Department, Ruba Yousef Al Hassan, and the CEO of the National Centre.
