Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Balıkesir University at Teknofest 2023; The ROTEK CAR Team, representing the International Efficiency Challenge electric vehicle races, the International Electrical and Electronics Engineering Society (IEEE) Student Society, and the Misya Aviation and Space Technologies Community Rocket Team, representing the Teknofest Rocket Competition, came together with the members of the Rectorate. Congratulating the finalists of Turkey’s first and only aviation, space and technology festival, Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu stated that they are proud of the success of the students. During the visit, the students of the community operating under the Balikesir University Health, Culture and Sports Department also thanked Balıkesir University Rector Prof. Dr. Thanks to Yücel Oğurlu.
THEY WILL REPRESENT BALIKESIR UNIVERSITY
The ROTEK CAR Team, which consists of the National Defense and Technology Community and the Robotics Community, and the vehicles in which many parts, especially the engine and battery balancing system, are produced locally, and the Balikesir University International Electrical and Electronics Engineering Community, which is on the way to become one of the lightest vehicles in the racing field thanks to the chassis and body, will represent Balıkesir University in the 2023 International Efficiency Challenge electric vehicle races, which will be held on April 25-29.
THEY ARE FINALISTS IN THE ROCKET COMPETITION
The rocket, consisting of mechanical parts, avionics circuits and composite body produced by the Misya Aerospace Technologies Group Rocket Team, consisting of Balıkesir University Electrical-Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Engineering students, who made it to the finals in the rocket competition, will be launched in Aksaray on April 27, 2023.
