Cameroonian international striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting returned to Bayern Munich’s training on Monday, and it seems that he has a chance to catch up with Manchester City on Wednesday in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
Chubu Moting, 34, was playing the role of substitute striker in Bayern Munich, but he has become essential since the departure of Polish sniper Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona.
The Cameroonian striker missed the first leg, which the Bavarian club lost at Manchester City by three goals without a response, due to a knee injury.
The Cameroonian striker also missed the match in which Bayern beat Freiburg 1-0 earlier this month, as well as the 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim last Saturday.
Senegalese striker Sadio Mane missed the match against Hoffenheim due to suspension, but is expected to return against City.
