The Disciplinary Committee of the Football Association decided, during its meeting the day before yesterday, to suspend Baynouna player Abdullah Ahmed Alawi for six matches and fine him 12,000 dirhams, due to his inappropriate behavior towards the first assistant referee in his team’s match against the Al Dhaid team, within the first-division league competitions for amateur clubs. It was also decided to suspend Al-Jazira Al-Hamra player Igor Neves for four matches and fine him “12 thousand dirhams”, because of his assault on the opposing team player without a ball, in his team’s match against Masfout in the first-division competition.
The meeting was chaired by Counselor Saeed Al-Houti, with the participation of Hamdan Al-Zeyoudi, Vice-Chairman of the Committee, and members: Hassan Al-Shaibani, Salman Al-Taweel, Badr Khamis, and Shadi Medhat as Rapporteur.
