German Foreign Minister Analina Baerbock said on Monday that Saudi Arabia is seeking solutions to crises in the region, and that her country needs strong relations with it.
“Saudi Arabia uses its influence to find solutions to crises in the region, and this makes it a partner with whom we need strong relations,” the Foreign Ministry quoted Berbuck as saying.

Earlier on Monday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received the German foreign minister and discussed with her “the strong Saudi-German relations, ways to strengthen and develop them to serve common interests, and intensify bilateral coordination on many regional and international issues.”

Birbock said that the world is watching the military leaders in Sudan and whether they assume their responsibilities towards the Sudanese people. “The first goal of the Sudanese negotiations, mediated by Saudi Arabia and America, is a permanent ceasefire,” she added.
