New Delhi. South Korean video game developer Crafton on Monday announced that the video game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is now available to play in India. BGMI is now available to play, starting with the 2.5 update, which provides an immersive experience for gamers, the company said. For an immersive experience, the game will have varying levels of playability, allowing users to login in different phases.
Within 48 hours all users will be able to login and play the game.
According to the company, the game will be available for iOS users to download and play in the country.
Crafton said that playtime for users under the age of 18 will be limited to three hours, while for the rest of the players it will be six hours per day, with parental verification and time limits for underage users will remain a part of the game.
In addition, the update will include new additions such as a brand-new map – Nusa, captivating in-game events, weapon upgrades, and an amazing collection of new skins to enhance the gameplay.
The Government of India was the first to ban the Krafton marquee that offered PUBG in the country. Crafton later announced the launch of the BGMI game in May 2021.
The Indian government then ordered Google and Apple to block the BGMI gaming app from their respective online stores under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.(IANS)
