New Delhi: The Central Government has explained the procedures for obtaining Indian registration of vehicles known as BH Series.
The federal government has introduced a new vehicle registration that starts with a Ph.D.
Vehicles normally transported from one particular state to another must be re-registered within one year according to traffic rules. With this registration the owners have to pay the road tax for that state as well.
The transition from one state to another due to occupation and work is currently prevailing for many. Many of those who did so experienced various difficulties in changing the registration of their vehicle to suit that state.

The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways today replied in writing to a question from a member of the state assembly in this regard Nitin Gadkari Has provided the following information.
On 26.08.2021, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways introduced the new registration label ‘Bharat Series BH Series’ for new vehicles.
When the owner of an individual vehicle with this registration stamp moves from one state to another, the vehicle does not need to obtain a new registration stamp. This vehicle registration facility is provided to security personnel, employees of Central Government / State Governments / Central / State Public Sector Undertakings and private sector companies having their offices in four or more States / Union Territories.
Motor vehicle tax will be levied for two years or twice. After the completion of the fourteenth year, the motor vehicle tax will be levied annually. This will be half of the amount previously charged for that vehicle.
