Balayya movie means..Faction drama..A flash back..Revenge..Family sentiment..It has become common for the directors to show the same story from different angles by putting the local spices in a roti. But this time Balayya Babu has changed the route. If you are cut with a knife, you will get tired of it.. Balayya who cuts the massacre that I want.. Even if Bhagwant enters the family entertainment mode like Kesari.. the massacre is not the same.
Anil Ravipudi, who has become a carafe address for comedies like Jandhyala, EVV and Srinu Vaitla, has changed his track this time. Six films in a row.. six super hits. But there is no seventh ball in the over, so this time they tried to start a new over with a new genre. Otherwise, instead of the usual ground, the balls were broken experimentally on the new pitch. Some were clean bowled.. some were super sixes.. some were noballs too.
The story of ‘Bhagwant Kesari’ is about how a daughter but a daughter fulfills the dream of a father but not a father to bring a girl child to the world. In this story, the fatherless father is the wild child Nelakonda Bhagwant Kesari (Balakrishna). Kanchi (Kajal Aggarwal) is the heroine who helps this father-daughter dream come true. The obnoxious villain is Rahul Sanghi (Arjun Rampal). If you look at the reveal of the characters, the audience will already understand what the story is.
The director wanted to show a simple story in an entertaining way in a contest called “Girl should not be a lady’s child.. Tiger’s child”. Bhagwant Kesari’s journey to make Vijjipapa, who had become weak due to some events in her life, become strong. Anil Ravipudi presented his story in a different way leaving aside the routine and routine. Starting the story in Mumbai.. and then fished back to Warangal.. in the first 15 minutes he introduced ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ with the background of the jail and gave clarity on how the story will unfold.. within the first 15 minutes. It seems Balayya is there.. Balayya Babu has been shown in a new way instead of saying let’s leave the ground and do Samu..
While showing Balayya as a superhero, he added comedy timing. In a different mannerism, there are flashes here and there to please the mass audience. Even if Anil Faktu kept comedy aside, he did not miss entertainment. There are many superman-like adventures in Bhagwant Kesari. Balayya is the director of bazaar booths like KCPD (Ku.Chim.Pa.Dem), Mingadam, Ground Floor Balisinda, Zee.
While Balayya is like Mass of God.. What if there are no mass scenes.. From the entry scene to the ending scene.. The scene where the villains are warned in the middle.. The massacre scene.. Balayya Babu (Balakrishna) is KCPD till now. As per the subtitle, ‘Bro.. I don’t care’, the dialogues and behavior of the character were shown to be close to Balayya’s personality. Balayya Babu looks natural unlike the movies he has done so far. But no matter how much heroism there is… there should be interest in the story. No matter how much you squeeze a fruit without juice, what will it produce except pipi..? Bhagwant Kesari also means.. Balayya Babu wanted to do KCPD (booth dialogue in the movie) but got no juice except Tukku. Remember.. even if Anil Ravipudi says that this toy belongs to Sana Yandlu.. it is not too much of a toy. It can be fun to watch.
So far Srili has been shown as a glamor doll. But in this movie, she showed a matured performance as Vijjupapa. The whole story revolves around her. But in the climax, there was a surprise from Srilila. The action scenes with Balayya are the highlight of the movie. And Kajal Aggarwal.. but it seems that there is something because the heroine should be in the film. And the scene where he falls in love with Balayya is like falling in love at first sight. Both of them.. were walking side by side in the market.. a woman came.. is she him? She says that she can’t say that she is married. But for those who see it.. Kajal and Balayya look like father and daughter.. They are not a match at all. You can imagine the love track between them. That’s why I don’t know how to cut it, but the director left their love track in the climax.
Each director has a different style in showing heroism and villainy. The villain is made a joker to wake up the hero. As for Mana Jakanna.. the hero is shown as strong.. the villain is shown with the same heroism. Even if the protagonist has the upper hand in the end, the villain is also kept as equal. But Anil Ravipudi… first category director. In his stories, he easily makes the villain a joker. Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has shown seriousness in this movie. He has learned Telugu language and dubbed it on his own.. His base voice is really scary for his performance. But in the climax, they become a routine villain who gets beaten up by the hero. Sarath Kumar.. as a jailer is crucial in the story but was there for a while. And Brahmaji also appeared in an important role but there was no big scope.
Anil Ravipudi’s take is amazing.. He showed that if you want to get rich… you don’t need to travel to foreign countries. Hyderabad city has been shown very beautifully. The palace where the villain lives reminds me of Foreign Countries. Telangana Bhavan, Assembly, Tang Bund, Ambedkar’s huge statue… not a single location has been left out. A social message was also given with a scene telling how to protect small children from human beasts. Every mother is more careful for her child. C. Ram Prasad’s cinematography is a plus for the movie. Hyderabad city has been shown more beautiful. Taman’s music doesn’t matter.. It’s the best of the movies he’s done in recent times. Since the whole song is situational, all the three songs are not like aha oho, but they are good in context.
Overall, Balayya Babu’s ‘Bhagwant Kesari’.. as Anil Ravipudi said, it is not a movie that will last for years, but it can be watched till this festival season.
