One of the Bhogeshwara teeth is 2.54 meters (8 feet) long and the other is 2.34 meters (7.5 feet). Both teeth were about to touch the ground. The elephant was often seen near the temple near the Bhogeshwar camp. The staff of the forest department named it Bhogeshwara. Bhogeshwara dental samples were sent to the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory in Mysore. Authorities found the elephant dead of natural causes and illness. It was also found that there were no signs of injuries on the elephant’s body.
