On September 21, in the Lok Sabha, BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri abused BSP MP Danish Ali and made indecent remarks related to religion. 8 political parties of the country including BJP condemned Bidhuri’s statement. BJP is also included in this.
Congress, DMK, NCP and TMC on Friday wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and demanded action against Bidhuri. AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi claimed that no action would be taken against Bidhuri.
He said- There is a possibility that he may be made the BJP Delhi State President. Today, Muslims in India are being treated the same way as Jews were treated in Hitler’s Germany.

- Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh- What he has said is condemnable. Defense Minister’s apology is inadequate. Such language should not be used inside or outside the House. This is not the thinking of Ramesh Bidhuri, but of the BJP party. Our demand is that Ramesh’s membership should be cancelled.
- National Conference leader Omar Abdullah- If he had just said terrorist we would have been used to it. Those words were said for the entire Muslim community. How can Muslims associated with BJP tolerate this? This shows what they think about us? shame on them.

Ravi Shankar Prasad and Harsh Vardhan stayed away from the controversy
When Ramesh Bidhuri was speaking indecent language in the House, former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Dr. Harsh Vardhan sitting behind him were recorded on camera laughing. People trolled them on social media, after which both of them gave clarification.

Rahul Gandhi met Danish Ali
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met BSP MP Kunwar Danish Ali at his residence on the evening of 22 September. During this, Rahul hugged Danish Ali. He shared its photo on X (which was earlier Twitter). Written in the caption- ‘Shop of love in the market of hatred.’ Congress leader KC Venugopal was also present with Rahul during this meeting.

BJP gave show cause notice to Ramesh Bidhuri
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has warned Bidhuri that strict action will be taken if such behavior is repeated in the House. BJP has also issued a show cause notice to Ramesh Bidhuri. Soon after the objectionable remarks, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had also expressed regret in the House.
