The State Crime Branch team raided a company located in Saran police station area on the information of the informer. In this raid, a dozen minor children were found working. Ten of them are girls. The police team has registered a case against the company management under the Child Labor Act. Along with this, the children are being rescued and their counseling is being done. The Crime Branch team took this action under Operation Muskaan. The local police is probing the matter.
According to the information, the State Crime Branch received information from the informer that minor children are being forced into child labor in Alpus Technocraft, located near Jawahar Colony Newlight School. On information, a team was formed under the leadership of ASI Amar Singh of State Crime Branch. Company raided. In the raid, district coordinator Sunita Devi from Child Helpline, Deepak from Shanti Vahini Sanstha along with others, when the investigation was carried out inside the company, a dozen children including 10 minor girls were found working there. The age of all of them was from 15 to 17 years.
They were made to work from 9 in the morning to 5.30 in the evening by the company management. In return, they were given 6 to 7 thousand rupees. Many children were working here for two years. On the complaint of the State Crime Branch, the police have registered a case against the company management. Along with this, the children are being rescued and their counseling is being done.
